Google My Business Changes Post Limit

Google My Business just got a whole lot more user-friendly!

It has recently been announced that Google My Business has changed the length of their posts to 1,500 characters.

But what does this mean for the users?

This means that the content that you are seeing on your screen will be easier to read, making this the perfect solution when using voice search devices such as Google Assistant, Siri and androids Bixby.

Despite this, the update does present a couple of new challenges. Posts that have previously exceeded this new word count will need to be optimised.

Information shared on Google My Business must be kept short in order to ensure that the audience can access the information they are looking for without having to read through an 1,000 word piece.

As the capability of voice search improves, so too does the optimisation of Google My Business. This enables businesses, such as yours, to appear when a user searches for a service near them. In short, the better optimised your content is, the more likely you are to generate successful conversions.
